Profile of Manistique soil. Depth is marked in inches. This soil is 50 to 100 centimeters (20 to 40 inches) deep to limestone bedrock. This pedon exhibited good spodic morphology, but the pH of the Bs horizons is too high for a Spodosol; subsequently it classifies as an Aquic Udipsamment.
